Work Experience

Darryl Taylor is a long term supporter of "Work Experience" programs for local high school and college students who are interested in the aviation industry.

Work Experience programs provide students with a "hands on approach" in this unique industry.

Students have the opportunity to learn from all areas of our work place, interacting with our flight crew, engineers, ground support crew, and administration personnel.

We have welcomed students from Latrobe High School, Reece High School, Devonport High School, Scotch Oakburn College, Leighland Christian School, and Wynyard High School.

Our former LAME Steve Marshall was first introduced to the aviation industry as a work experience student here at Tasmanian Helicopters, Steve then joined the Australian Defence Force, before returning to our base at Latrobe to work in our Maintenance Facility.
